Pick-up date may shift to the right, as necessary depending on weather, if date change occurs you will be notified by phone of the new pick up date. OTHERWISE, DATE POSTED IS THE PICK UP DATE!

Must pay at the time of order.  Please provide a good contact number on your order request, so that we may reach you if necessary. Please include your email address.  We will provide necessary updates as we near forecasted delivery dates.

3 pound package contains approximately 10,000 bees. Package is a box with four wooden sides and screened material in the front and back. It is approximately 8.5" high, 16" wide and 5.5" deep. An inverted metal can filled with sugar syrup (sucrose) is placed inside the box and provides feed for the bees during their transit.  The Marked Mated Queen is in a separate smaller wooden cage with attendant bees and fondant candy on one end of her cage. At pick up you will be handed the package of bees and the queen in her separate cage. They are not combined together. This process allows you to clearly SEE that the Queen is ALIVE before leaving our Farm. It makes installing the bees and queen easier as well. 

At pickup, it is normal to see dead bees inside the package.  If dead bees are greater than two inches in depth; BRAWES BEE FARM LLC reserves the right to refund your money in full, attempt to make an agreement for a reduced price sale, as is or offer a different package (if available).  This will be completed prior to leaving our farm. Once you have accepted and received your package and queen, you are fully responsible how you choose to transport and install them. 

Package bees are non-refundable once order is placed.  Beekeeping is a window into nature; and bees are fundamentally an agriculture livestock product.  Therefore, no guarantees are offered or implied after a package of bees is received.  This includes both livability and/or sustainability to the entire product and/or queen. Upon confirming your order, you are acknowledging our hold-harmless policy:  BRAWES Bee Farm L.L.C is not liable for damages, nor to any loss or harm you may experience in your attempt to established a colony.

******* NOTICE*********  BEE PACKAGES ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP ON THE BEE PACKAGE PICK UP DAY STATED ABOVE.  Should your availability to pickup on the pickup date become in conflict, we are unable to hold or ship the package.  At the close of business on 12 April 2025, any and all packages not picked up by the customer  will be installed into nucleolus equipment, grown as a nucleolus and the sales order will be automatically transferred to a nucleolus order.  At such point, the customer will owe the full balance of the nucleolus.
